Kevin and Edna Bond Scholarship Fund

This Scholarship was established through the Kevin and Edna Bond Scholarship Endowment Fund. Kevin and Edna Bond were highly respected in their community as Elders and founders of Inala Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation. This Scholarship is designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at UQ, a commitment which upholds Kevin and Edna's legacy of empowering young people to pursue their educational aspirations and create lasting change in their communitites.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:

  • be able to demonstrate financial need;
  • be Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and;
  • be enrolled in any coursework program in the applicable semester. 
How to Apply

You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship scheme and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme. 

 

You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:

  • financial circumstances (Centrelink payments, ATO statements, family income, etc.);
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status;
  • academic achievement and;
  • community service and/or leadership achievements.
