Emmanuel College Indigenous Residential Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2021 to assist in living and accommodation costs for Indigenous students residing at Emmanuel College. 
 
The value of this scholarship is up to $7,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
  • be a domestic student;
  • be an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person;
  • be able to demonstrate financial need;
  • be a commencing student in the applicable year;
  • be enrolled or intend to enrol in any Bachelor program in the year the scholarship is awarded and;
  • be or intend to be a resident at Emmanuel College. 
How to Apply

You'll need to submit alongside your application evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, tax notice, etc. and evidence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status.

This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme. Scholarship value is up to $7,000 towards accommodation fees. Duration is minimum completion time and the number awarded may vary. It was established in 2021 by a donation from Emmanuel College under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative.
