The Steglick Indigenous Women's Scholarship
Established in 2016 by a generous gift from the Steglick family, the Steglick Indigenous Women's Scholarship aims to enhance the educational and health services available to Indigenous communities in remote, rural and regional areas.
The scholarship's purpose is to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women who are undertaking teaching/education and/or health studies at the University of Sydney.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and submit documentation declaring and confirming Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity;
- Be a new or continuing student at WSU;
- Be enrolled in any undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree in the Health and Medicine Cluster or School of Education and;
- Identify as female.
Preference will be given to applicants from rural/regional/remote areas.
