The Griffith Business Schools wants to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students with their studies. This is available for commencing students in business, government and related degrees.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander*;
- be commencing university for the first time in the applicable semester;
- be applying for admission an undergraduate degree hosted by GBS and;
- not be in receipt of any other scholarship.
*You may be asked to provide a Confirmation of Heritage: A letter of Confirmation is usually obtained from an Indigenous organisation and stamped with their common seal.

You will need to supply:
- Your secondary education history and university program preferences;
- Your leadership and community experience;
- a personal statement in 500 words or less, stating how the scholarship would benefit your studies at university and support your career aspirations when graduating from a business and/or government degree at Griffith and;
- Confirmation of heritages from an Indigenous corporation/Land Council with a common seal.
Further Information
The scholarship is valued at $15,000 for a single degree or $20,000 for a double degree. The maximum value is determined by the length of the undergraduate degree and is calculated at a rate of $625 per 10 credit points. Payments are made to the recipient's nominated bank account up to three weeks after the census date of each trimester, subject to scholarship terms and conditions.
