Paul Bendat Memorial Indigenous Scholarship in Law

The Bendat Family Foundation has donated funds to UWA to establish a fund to provide scholarships to encourage and assist high-achieving Indigenous Australian students, who are facing financial hardship, to pursue a Juris Doctor. 

This scholarship is for:

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • be a domestic student;
  • be an Australian Indigenous person;
  • be experiencing financial hardship;
  • be enrolled, or eligible to enrol, full-time in the Juris Doctor degree course. 

 

Financial hardship may be demonstrated by an applicant being in receipt of a means-tested Commonwealth income support payment (such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, Abstudy, etc.)
