NT Aboriginal Responsive Skilling Grants

The Skills NT Grant supports delivery of vocational education and training and related support to improve employment and economic outcomes for Territorians. It focuses on equity groups, skilling pathways, high-demand industries, innovative apprenticeship and traineeship delivery, improving outcomes for Aboriginal Territorians, and increasing training availability in regional and remote areas.

Eligibility Criteria:

Funding is available to organisations only. Eligible applicants must be physically located and actively operating in the NT and may include registered training organisations, peak bodies, associations, and joint applications with a lead applicant identified. The grant includes a focus on improving outcomes for Aboriginal Territorians, particularly in regional and remote areas.

Complete the Skills NT Grant application form on GrantsNT and provide the required supporting information, including details of the qualification or training requested, the training provider, a training delivery plan, relevant quotes for support funds, the occupational outcome, and a business case with evidence of industry, business, and community support.

Further Information

VET delivery is funded in accordance with the private provider annual hours curriculum rates. Grant funds cannot be used for activities funded by other government grant programs, capital expenditure, recurrent activities, core business, supplementing existing project funding, activities providing commercial advantage, established fee-for-service markets, or development of NT or Australian Government employees.
