Dr Gordon and Mrs Joan Coldtiz Scholarship
This Scholarship was established in 2018 by Dr Graham Colditz. In 2023, an additional gift was matched under The Queensland Commitment. Dr Colditz created the Scholarship in memory of his late father, Dr Gordon Colditz and his late mother, Mrs Joan Colditz.

To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:
- be able to demonstrate financial need;
- be Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and;
- be enrolled in any coursework program in the applicable semester.
Preference will be given to students who are enrolled in a coursework program administered by the Faculty of Medicine.
You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship scheme and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme.
You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:
- financial circumstances (Centrelink payments, ATO statements, family income, etc.);
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status;
- academic achievement and;
- community service and/or leadership achievements.
