Pomfrey Medical Trust Scholarship
This Scholarship was established in 1991 by a $5,000 bequest from George Henry Pomfrey to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders studying the Doctor of Medicine full-time.

To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:
- be able to demonstrate financial need;
- be Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and;
- be enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Medicine program.
You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship scheme and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme.
You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:
- financial circumstances (Centrelink payments, ATO statements, family income, etc.);
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status;
- academic achievement and;
- community service and/or leadership achievements.
