This Scholarship was established in 2022 by a donation from Buchan under the UQef Scholarship Match Initiative. The Scholarship is maintained by an expendable gift from Buchan.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:

  • be able to demonstrate financial hardship;
  • be an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and;
  • be enrolled in the Bachelor of Architectural Design or Bachelor of Design in the applicable semester.
How to Apply

 

You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship scheme and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme. 

 

You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:

  • financial circumstances (Centrelink payments, ATO statements, family income, etc.);
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status;
  • academic achievement and;
  • community service and/or leadership achievements.
