First Nations Fellowship Program

The First Nations Fellowship Program offers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners a supported and flexible way to build skills, boost confidence and start new learning journeys.

 

Under this Fellowship, eligible students can enrol in selected Sydney Community College short courses with vocational intent at no cost. Whether you want to upskill for work, improve everyday digital capability or start a new career pathway, this program gives you access to practical and job relevant courses with support along the way.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:

  • live or work in NSW;
  • Be aged 15 years or older, no longer at school,
  • have a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier) and;
  • be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.

  • Contact the team by filling out the contact form on the Sydney Community College webpage. They will help check your eligibility and confirm whether your chosen course meets the ACE requirement of vocational intent.
  • Complete a short enrolment form to register into the Fellowship Program.
