This Scholarship was established by Commonwealth Bank to further their longstanding commitment to the financial wellbeing, education and career pathway opportunities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this Scholarship, you must:

  • be able to demonstrate financial hardship;
  • be Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and;
  • be enrolled in any coursework program at the University of Queensland.
How to Apply

You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship scheme and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme. 

 

You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:

  • financial circumstances (Centrelink payments, ATO statements, family income, etc.);
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status;
  • academic achievement and;
  • community service and/or leadership achievements.
