Maev O'Collins Scholarship
Emeritus Professor Ellen Maev O'Collins established this endowed scholarship in 2015 to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking health sciences and social work studies - she greatly serviced the people of Papua New Guinea with her studies and work in her career.

Eligibility Criteria:
This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all the following criteria, by the scholarship application close date:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students;
- Faculty: Health Sciences;
- Campus: Canberra;
- Study load: full-time and;
- Financial hardship.
How to Apply
Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:
Evidence of financial hardship:
most recent Tax Assessment Notice; or
Centrelink Income Statement; or
the most recent 60 days of bank transactions AND pay slips from the last 6 weeks
Evidence of academic merit from your most recent studies (applies to future students only)
ATAR or equivalent; or
academic transcript (including GPA)
Evidence of financial hardship:
most recent Tax Assessment Notice; or
Centrelink Income Statement; or
the most recent 60 days of bank transactions AND pay slips from the last 6 weeks
