Deadly Accommodation Scholarship

The Deadly Relocation/Accommodation Costs Scholarship (ICACS) aims to improve higher education access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples', particularly those who need to relocated from regional and remote areas in order to access study. 
 
$3500 in first year per semester, $2500 each semester after

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
  • be an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person;
  • provide evidence of low socio-economic status or financial hardship (such as Centrelink statement, payslips, etc.)
  • be enrolled in an undergraduate, Honours or Postgraduate course at Federation University;
  • provide either a Confirmation of Aboriginality or a statutory declaration and;
  • travel for study would be more than 90 minutes or has had to relocate for the purpose of commencing studies (at least 80km from home address).
