The Hawkesbury College Foundation was established in 1982 by the (then) Hawkesbury Agricultural College as a charitable entity designed to support the College.
The UWS Hawkesbury Foundation Board remains committed to the support of the Hawkesbury Campus of UWS whilst also supporting the growing reputation of the whole of UWS as a high quality University supporting both its region and the broader international community. The Hawkesbury Foundation currently provides nine (9) annual undergraduate scholarships to students studying in courses on the Hawkesbury campus of the University with a value of $5,000 each, four (4) annual student Prizes with values between $500 and $2000, one (1) Annual PhD Award of up to $15,000 and an annual donation to the Hawkesbury campus library.

The Indigenous Allied Health Scholarship has been developed to encourage Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to purse within the School of Allied Health. The Scholarship aims to increase Indigenous participation in Allied Health professions by supporting students from the beginning of their educational journey through to the successful completion of their degree.
A cash stipend of up to $2500 per semester will be provided for the normal expected duration of the degree.

An ARC funded research scholarship is available with the Mathematics Without Borders research group, within the Mathematical Sciences Institute at the Australian National University.
The successful applicant/s will undertake research on non-Western and Indigenous mathematical knowledge and its transmission. Some fieldwork and archival work may be involved.
For a full-time PhD, MPhil, or Masters by Research program the scholarship stipend is $ 38,154 per year, for up to 3.5 years.
As appropriate, scholarships also may be offered to undergraduate students to undertake an aligned short research project at Honours level or within a PhB program. The scholarship at postgraduate level may be available to an international student who also qualifies for a Tuition Fee Scholarship.
